I have moved to Poland from the uk and brought my bush 26 inch tv with me and now it can only catch the audio of channels and not the video. Can anyone help?

Replace the main board

if you could watch movies before then the sources you are using have probably been blocked by your i.s.p.! Try setting up a v.p.n and trying again would be helpful if you could give a bit more detail as to which video add ons you are trying to use as there are different scenarios as to why this may be happening.

TV ng - return for exchange if new.

To switch off sub-titles on Bush 26" HD ReadyTV - the following has just worked for me 19.1.10
1) Select Features on Menu options
2) Switch Analog Subtitle to Off
3) Change Subtitle Type to Hearing Impaired

the tv is going in shutdown mode, is going to be power supply problem. check if your tv is under warranty because you will need a tv tech,

French TV works on a diffrent frequency to uk i cannot remember the details but one is PAL as memory serves me a modern tv should switch over in the settings

your friend is right you require pal system to run tv properly.

on the back side of your tv there might be switch pal/ntsc

if that system change over switch is not there then you are helpless

good luck.

If you have your vcr connected via the RCA audio/video jacks, pull those out.
Or check your tv's menu for sound source selection.
