You must take it apart and clean it, there is probably to much dirt and junk in the middle.....my old fan did this, some times the motors also go bad, but once they get moving they will work. Probably time to get a new one. Try cleaning it first though.

The bearings on your fan are wore out or the inside of the fan is wore out (some fans don't utilize bearings). If you respond with what type of unit this fan is in I will direct you to the proper replacement.

The fan you listed as you can see up top is a "Optimus Electric Fans" Maybe if you put the proper information in the first place you will get the correct help. Don't expect to get an answer after a rating like that. Especially when it is your fault that you did not list the proper fan.

Fan condenser unit wont run

This is usually a bad capacitor or bad fan motor. The capacitor is located inside the electrical panel on the outside unit. You can check these by using a meter that measures Mfds (Microfarads), most of the time you can visually see the capacitor swollen or blown. The fan motor can be checked by a meter that measures ohms, really high ohms are usually bad. If you can't spin the fan blade easily, then it's locked up. What usually happens, the capacitor or motor windings go bad, doesn't spin the fan blade, overheats the compressor so it kicks out on thermal protection till it cools back down, and sometimes the motor will overheat and go into thermal protection also. Just make sure you are getting the 220v to the outside unit too, but shut all power off before doing any trouble-shooting. Hope this helps, feel free to ask any questions!

Evap fan noisey. this is the 2nd one I put in.

The fan can not be allowed to vibrate (firmly attached). The motor shaft must be straight. Every blade on the fan must be of the same weight and pitch. Every blade on the fan must be equidistant from each other.
In the event a fan begins to shake, the shaking will cause problems in the other. ie: A bad blade will quickly cause a bad motor. A bad motor will quickly cause a bad blade.
Did you replace both the motor and the blade simultaneously?
:o).

How do I fix my fan from shaking so badly?

Did you just clean the fan? If while cleaning, you bent a fan blade, even a hair it will shake. Blades are perfectly balanced. Moving one just a hair, will cause the fan to shake. Trying to re=balance the blade(s) is futile, you can get it close, but it will take somr patience. If the fan has built up dust on the blade(s) will begin to shake if some blew off unevenly

Acer 5610 is getting hot and keeps shutting off.

The fan may have gone bad. Turn the laptop on and put your hand on the bottom where the fan vent is. If you can't hear the fan turning or feel air coming out, the fan is probably bad and will need to be replaced. (Hopefully it hasn't caused any hardware damage and once you replace the fan it should work fine.)

If you can hear the fan spinning but can't feel any air coming out, the duct might be blocked or clogged with dirt. Turn the computer off and blow some compressed air into the fan from about a 45 degree angle. If you feel comfortable opening the computer up, remove the screws from the bottom of the case and take the bottom off so you can get to the fan. Clean the fan blades with a dry lint-free cloth, or with a damp cloth and then dry the blades. Put the computer back together and hopefully the fan should spin freely now and blow air out the vent.

Shaking mazda mpv 2003 in idle and loud radiator fan

Hello there, As far as the check engine light I would think since you mentioned it shacking that your light will probably be on for a misfire, Meaning most likely you have a spark plug wire going bad. I would stop by somewhere such as Autozone for a free check to tell you why your light is on just to double check.

Your fan issue could be several different things such as the fan motor going bad or the blades could be rubbing something, that one is a little tricky without hearing it.

Good Luck and I hope this does help you some. Allen

Fan has a internal rubbing noise when in motion. Is there a way to use some electrical/ teflon oil to ease it's pain.

MOTION NOISE OCCUR IN THREE WAYS
1. The bearing of the fan is not good, apply greese or lubricant oil on bearing as on manual
2. The fan blade is not fixed properly, tight all screws, some times its blade is bent correct it.
3. The fan is operating on square wave frequency when it is working on an invertor, use a sine wave frequency

Blades stopped turning on Windchaser floor fan. Everything else works fine. Have had it for about 3 yrs

can you manually move the rotor on the motor? You can remove the blades and inspect the connection of the rotor to the blades and see if any foreign objects are obstructing its motion.

My ceiling fan wont stop shaking

sound like the fan is unbalanced , go to HOME DEPOT or any hardware store and purchase a pack of weights , these are small weights with self adhesive on them, to BALANCE IT start with one blade at the time , with the pack of weights it should include a square black horseshoe type to clip on the fan blade , this black clip is to let you know where to put a small weight, OK , so clip on at the middle of 1rst blade , start fan at high speed , if it shakes less , put on a small weight , do the same with the rest of fan blades , until it stop shaking , hope this helpful , AJ
