How do I set? I have used the instructions but nothing seems to work.

    The stem does not pull out. I'm afraid to be too forceful with it.

Well the stem should be pulled out, it could just be stuck but in order to adjust the time, you should pull it out.

if you want to, you may bring the catch to a watch repair specialist and have the stem cleaned to that if you need to set the time, it will be easy to adjust it.

be careful not to use anything sharp like a blade, you may risk remove the stem handle

You set it using the wheel pull it out , it should have two positions, one adjust time the other one date and chronograph, I see if I find full manual.

I used to have similar problems when I used to used leather (rigid) straps. I found that flexing the wrist used to pull the straps off the watch.

I got over the problem by using expanding bracelet. I have never had the problem since (30 years!).

this model has a screw down crown...turn counterclockwise until crown pops up then pull out 2 clicks...make sure to rescrew it down when finished

Luminox Marine 1590- need instruction manual to help setting date and time

This model is like any other analog watch, only difference is the screw-down crown...turn counter-clockwise until crown pops up...pull out 2 clicks and set time...push in 1 click to set the date, then into case completely...remember to screw down watch back into case...good luck :)
