My Naxa 4GB mp4 player is not connecting with my computer sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't i cant add any new videos or songs because it wont show up on my computer it charges it just doesn't show...

Craig touch MP4 player and it is not recognized by computer.

try using media and click the sync tab
wait for the new device window
name it and your done

Hi there i down loaded songs onto the mp4 but now it says file error can you help pls

please try so file scan your mp4 maybe your mp4 got bad sector and he cant add songs in it... try scandisk

Battery not charging

Try this, Open the back of the player and take out the battery and let it sit for about 1-2 minutes and replace the battery and back. Power it on (provided it has enough power to do so) and try to charge it again. Sometimes electronics have develop an error for some strange unexplained reason and removing their power for about a minute resets the device and restore functionality.

Downloading music to my mp4 player

first connect your mp4 to your laptop with a usb cable. once it shows up on the laptop copy or cut and paste your music to the root folder of your mp4 or the music folder. after that is done disconect your mp4 from your laptop.

restart you mp4 and your music should now show up. enjoy your music

My computer says my Sony walkman mp4 is diconnected

When you ripped out the usb cord, it was prolly writing to disc so it lost data. You allways go down right site and eject an asb drive, your sony is a usb drive when you connect it.
Now i dont know what you should do, but scan for faults on the sony!

Turn off the player and let charge for about 4 hrs via USB port. This will charge the battery.

To upload songs to the player plug in to USB port and look for the removable drive through my computer or windows explorer. drag and drop MP3s into to removable drive window.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.
