I have a casio lk-44. I want to be able to play a song from the songbank, but just hear the background rhythm and not the melodies. I want to play the melody myself from the songbank. When I pick a song from the songbank the melody plays along with the rhythm I can't turn off the melodies. I can't find out how to turn off the melody in the songbank from the booklet that came with the keyboard. thanks Jim

Not sure if your "booklet" is the full user manual... if not go to this site and go through their "hoops" and download the full user manual. It shows how to put the unit in the mode that merely lights the keys and plays the rhythm, unlike the "demo" mode.

Note the manual is free via the Retrevo site... just have some of those annoying hoopps like email address and entering numbers.

How do add songs to the song bank on my Casio LK-30 keyboard?

You can't add songs to the LK-30 song bank. I suspect you would need to take apart the keyboard and replace the ROM (read-only memory) chip to get a different song collection.

Most Casio electronic instrument manuals are available from http://support.casio.com/en/manual/manual.php?cid=008 . However, I found the LK-30 manual at manualslib.com: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/358460/Casio-Lk-30.html .

I wish that I had better news for you.

Where I can get the notes' book for the songs for the Casio LK30?

EBay has the Song Book for the LK 43/44 (which may be the same) so it's worth checking there from time to time.

Hi i have problems with my speakers on my pa 800 ,when i just play tones its clear but when i play the rhytms doesn't play right is not clear

Read your user manual about keyboard split. OFTEN the rhythms use the keys below F sharp for the chording of rhythm. When in this mode, you should restrict your melody to notes above F sharp that is to the left of middle C. If you play melody below this it will confuse the rhythm chording. You can likely change the split point of the keyboard, however, the F sharp split is the standard and I would suggest staying with it.

I need to know from which sites can I download rhythms & tones which is compatable fpor my casio keyboard ctk 810IN

You can play back standard MIDI files from the SD card slot, or load them into memory via USB. However, it is not possible to add new tones or rhythms.

Piano does not work no sound can be heard power supply is on display is proper too. if head phones are used i can hear the sound. but no sound can be heard without headphones tried to play a song through...

I could not find the schematic for this, but other Casio units use a common voltage regulator amplifier chip to drive the speaker... I would firsst check that leads to the speaker have not become disconnected.

I have casio CTK 5000. i want to download additional tones and rhythms on it . kindly suggest the site as well as the file formats it will recognize for this model. also kindly describe the total procedure...

It is possible to load new rhythms and tones in the CTK-5000. But you need the stuff. That is what it really lacks. Casio needs the Rhythms and tones in its own formats.

Casio LK 200 and smf software

If you have the smart card slot you can save your songs to the memory card by using Anvil Studio which is a free program. Save your midi song in Format 0 and be sure to use channel 4 for right hand playing and channel 3 for left hand. Be sure to keep the file size under 80k if you have other channels active for other instruments!
