I bought a LENOVO B 450 laptop. The dealer installed WIN 7. But in WIN 7 Tally 7.2 will not work. So I wish to install WIN XP. But when I tried to install WIN XP there shows an error message and a blue...

Please note that installing an operating system on an OEM machine OTHER than what was factory-installed on it may void either phone support for the customized OS or the warranty itself.

Lenovo Machines, like most new OEM models are set, by default to run their hard drives in AHCI mode for better performance & power management. Go to the computer's system setup F1 or Del while the computer is starting up to locate the Power, Hard drive or System configuration (Lenovo computers have different System Setup formats for each model so you'll have to navigate around a bit since they may be labeled differently).

Once you find it, you have to change the setting from AHCI to IDE or Compatibility, whichever option is available (once again, each model has a different format & labeling convention). Save the changes & exit the setup & retry the installation. Should work.

Hi hitesh,

I see you need a motherboard driver or what we term as a chipset driver.

See this link to download the chipset driver for your system ....

once on the website select Download Drivers & Software, then Click the TAb Browse Product.

  • Then on the drop down select Laptop and Notebooks then click continue
  • Then select Ideapad Z series then click continue
  • Then select Ideapad Z560 then click continue
  • Then all Machine types will be highlighted just click on continue again
  • Then select the version of windows that you have installed on you computer
  • Once you have select the specific Windows on your system this will show you information of all the driver of your computer
I hope that this will help.
