If the van has E59 on the RPO sticker you have to remove the left rear lower trim panel to access the motor. If it does not have E59 just remove the left rear compartment lid and compartment to access the motor. RPO E59 is a power left sliding door.
It is under the dash accessed behind the glove compartment. If I recall, there is a screw securing it and a plug attaching it to the wiring harness.
Gain access by pushing in the sides of the glove compartment that allows the door to lower out of the way.
Lower the glove compartment door to provide access to the recirculation duct assembly.
Disconnect the vacuum hose from the end of the vacuum motor and the motor arm retainer from the door crank arm.
Remove the two nuts retaining the vacuum motor to the recirculation duct, then remove the motor.
To install:
Position the vacuum motor to the fresh air/recirculate door crank arm, position the motor to the recirculation duct and install the two retaining nuts.
Install the retainer on the door crank arm.
Connect the white vacuum hose to the vacuum motor, connect the negative battery cable, then check the operation of the vacuum motor.
