Thanks you. You actually were right the first time. I just looked at an inermediate connection harness, rather than initial wiring from the car. And the second set is what I've got with the new unit. Just one more question. Mitsubishi wiring says "Car Radio Ground Wire: Chassis".
Where should I connect my Black (Ground) wire from the new unit?
You'll have to find a bolt on the bare metal frame of the instrument panel for the ground. It should be a bolt and not just a screw. Strip your ground wire at least an inch or more, loosen the bolt, wrap the stripped wire around under the loosened bolt's head, and tighten it back real tight. OK?
