1998 frigidaire wall oven intermittant f1 code

From my understanding your Frigidaire range is displaying an "F1" error code. "F1" typically means that your wall oven has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). Sometimes resetting your appliance can correct this issue but in the case that it does not and you still receive that error code I would recommend having a professional come out to properly diagnose and repair. At that time you could be having an issue within RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) sensor probe or the EOC (Electronic Oven Control) having a professional come out would reduce the cost of unnecessary parts. Typically error code F1 could indicate a variety of issues. The wall oven could possibly have a runaway temp (higher than normal temps), shorted keypad, faulty EOC (Electronic Oven Control) or, display wire harness missing/not connected. Usually, this code means to replace the EOC. You may be able to reset the wall oven by disconnecting the power to the unit for up ten minutes. Usually this will clear most false error codes. You can disconnect power by either unplugging the unit or flipping the circuit breaker off and back on. If resetting the unit proves to be ineffective, I would recommend contacting a professional to move forward accurately

F-1 is USUALLY a touch pad error, it thiniks something is stuck. The sensor error code is F-3.

You said, your get a recurring F1 beep even after I press "cancel" I worked with the oven for about 2 hours trying various combos of opening the oven, pressing cancel and trying to perform various functions (light, clean, bake, broil, etc.) to no avail. I got it to stop for about an hour at one point, but it started right back up again. It also seems that every now and then the oven light will come on all by itself during one fo these alerts

This means that the Power to element relay energized during time of day display. You have a problem with the wiring harness and it is shorted or you need to change the power relay board (PRB). If it is a double oven, you need to change second oven board.
