Usually means the electronics in the pump has detected there is no flow through the pump. Check all inlets, clear skimmer baskets, and ensure the primer box (witht he removable see through lid near the pump itself) has water in it before starting the pump. If there is no output back into the pool, there is no actual water flow, and hence the filter will show the "no flow" light. If there is good flow through the system and the light is staying on, then probably just a problem with the light or flow sensing circuit.

Where does the flow gauge go on the zodiac barracuda g3

the flow gauge goes on the end of the vacuum hose where you would normally plug the cleaner into.
The gauge is only used in the initial setup stage to set the correct flow rate and then the gauge is taken off and the cleaner put on

Today I have the no flow light flashing on my Zodiac Tri Clorine generator, when i remove the wire to the flow meter it comes on all the time then put it back on and it flashes I have plenty of flow a

if your positive there's the same or better flow than when it was newer , id say you have a defective flow sensor there

a simple flow test I do using a std pool hose of 1.5 inches in diameter is to hold it at 90degrees to ground resting it on a 1 foot high solid edge and measure out in inches how far the water reaches before hitting ground , this is purely a comparison test , you need to know what it was before there's a problem as several factors influence this simple test , so its results are site specific

My zodiac zippy will not move in the pool. Please help.

Make sure that your pump is on and that your filter is clean and not clogged. You will also want to check your water flow with the Star Control system. This is most likely what is causing lack of movement with these types of pool cleaners. If you get a blue or black reading, your flow is too low and you need to adjust it to get it to yellow. Increase the flow by turning the Star Control Assembly clockwise until the black indicator line aligns with the yellow area on the indicator gauge.

I have the zodiac g3 i hear it pulsating but i looks like it has too much suction and it gets stuck and does not move how do i adjust it

You need to use your pool cleaners flow gauge to test for proper flow. Keeping the hose submerged, attach the gauge to the hose and turn on the pump. The red indicator, when viewed from the side, should be at the 3 setting. If the flow is too low, check and clean the pool filter and baskets. If the flow is too high, verify that valves controlling the suction lines are in the correct position, change your flow setting on the Flow Keeper valve, or open the main drain slightly.

Zodiac Baracuda Zippy Pool Cleaner hose tear

I haven't seen any bulletins on the Zippy hoses. You might adjust the flow to the cleaner. You can find the Manual for the zippy cleaner on this page beneith the diagram. It shows how the star control works. You can also contact the Mfg Technical Support at Phone: 800-822-7933 They might be able to warranty a hose or two for you.
