Hi there! I bought Toshiba satellite M645 laptop a few weeks ago, and very unlucky I got the defective (I assume) one. Most of the time it freeze, need to force the power off button to shut off. Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't work at all. Terrible!! Just like donating money!! Fortunately, Toshiba center replaced with a new one after raising a lot of complaints. However, same model I acquired is experiencing the same problem as before...Damm..Dont know what to do. I think there's something wrong with Toshiba Satellite M645. They shall hoard the remaining stocks and dump it all of em.

I would, call Toshiba's Corporate Head Quarters, ask for a Executive Customer Service Supervisor, explain the issue (Be Nice... No Matter How Upset You May Be) and request an upgrade to the next model. All they can say is no, if yes, you're golden; if they do say no - at the very least, they will offer a: re-re-placement and most likely tell you if you have trouble with the 3rd one (HP did that with one I sent back for a family member - they have a 3 time rule).
