I am not sure which Laptop you own cause you have not specified.
But I believe Slim Driver is the way to go.

Download slim driver from above link (Orange Bar) and scan your system with it.
It will automatically download and install your drivers for you.
DO make a backup of your system before attempting this because it is always handy to have a backup in case something goes wrong.

I don't know if you had the updated version of their PC Suite, if you have it and the error is coming-up then there must be the issue with your Operating system, but there are chances you haven't got the updated version of the suite which is Windows7 compatible. Kindly download it from here, its a direct download link from the vendor's site. Better uninstall the previous one before installing this.
I hope you will come up with some solution now.

Installed the bluetooth driver according to your operating system installed.

For windows Vista :

Note: pliz on your bluetooth button if Bluetooth button is available on your Notebook.

The first thing that I would advise you to do is,

Uninstall the Bluetooth Adapter driver totally from the System first,

Then go to "scan for hardware changes",

This will bring up a prompt to install the new hardware found (Which is your Bluetooth Adapter).

After this, Press your ON/Off button on the mouse and ensure that it is On, then try to use it again.

It should connect like that.

(In case you dont know how to uninstall the Adapter, Right-Click on my computer Icon, Properties, Device Manager, then select the Adapter under bluetooth/network adapters, and right click on it, then select uninstall.)

there is a configuration part in BIOS for bluetooth and an icon under the display. Is it possible that the laptop has not a bluetooth hardware.

i think it is not fault of operation system . u could not stall properly printer softwere.or softwere is not workinng properly. 1st remove p softwere .re install it joining printer with computer. somtime printer cable is not working change once time to check it.(nepal}

First of all check that your bluetooth device is turned on or not.if not then turn it on & then proceed

If you formatted the user partition but not the recovery partition, you can reinstall to factory which will have all of the software the laptop originally came from and all the correct drivers.

If you formatted the entire drive you must use an installation disc to put an operating system on the laptop. In that case, you must then install the correct device drivers, which can be downloaded from the HP website at this link :)
