White screen with good audio. before buying pcbs & such. try my repair method.. you need to get the lcd unit off the facia & then remove the front lcd metal frame. at the top of the screen you have 2 thin pcbs - chances are that the ribbon cable got at least one track unbonded. first off put some double sided tape under the pcbs to stick then to the frame - that'll take the bend out of those pcbs !! next put cellotape over the ribbon cables. i then cut 6 pieces of sponge 15mm thick & wide as the ribbon cable & glue to the tape on the ribbon at what would be the top edge of the screen (covering the point where ribbon meets pcb).. put the metal frame on top edge first to keep the sponge straight !! put it back together & fire it up. if it still aint working you may need a tcon pcb (little square one at the top). this fixed my 42lg3000 but can work on others with same fault !!

If you can take it apart look for loose connection(cables) from the main board, t-con board, power supply. Pull-out all connectors then re-inset. If the symptom still persist, look for bad solder joints in said board. This symptom indicated of loose connection only...
