I think it's not an issue with your monitor. Try to set your monitor Resolution to 1600x900. If the resolution is not available then try download the latest graphics card driver from your manufacturer's website for your operating system.
I'm not sure what you mean by pixelation, but in general, monitors do not require specific drivers to operate with a PC. If you have some pixels which remain green or red or blue when it is supposed to be black, then the pixel is faulty and there is nothing that can be done except to replace the monitor.
