I have a LG direct drive wahing machine and its flashing IE cant find manual what does it mean please help!

The IE or E1 error or fault code indicates that the washer is not filling with water. Check to be sure the water supply valves are open. Also, check to be sure the water supply hoses aren't kinked or clogged. Next, remove the hoses from the washing machine and run water into a bucket to test the pressure and flow of the water. If all of these check out and you have good water pressure and flow to the machine, you should replace the water inlet valve
If you are trying to use the machine manually, there needs to be enough water in the machine to tell the level sensor when to switch off the water inlet solenoid valve. Failing this, the machine will only show IE (Inlet Error) and refuse to work.

Hi, according to the owner's manual on mine, "IE ERROR" means it's a 'water input error'. You have to check for a kink or clog to the water hose running to your machine. Once you unclog the water hose, you error code will disappear.

It means Unbalanced Error, it means the machine cant balance the load during the spin cycle, normally happens if there is too little a load i.e 1 or 2 things or overloaded. It is designed to protect the bearings. If it happens with a normal load try stopping it and re-arranging the load by hand and putting it on a spin only cycle. Hope this helps.

Hi! I checked both the inlet pipe and the rinse drain pipe. Both are fine. What next. The machine gets to 26 and then starts beeping. It is driving me absolutely crazy!!

03 error means drain pump is blocked or broken check the filter first before having someone out.

Are you sure the error is DU?

That DU is fault of the main board and it will need to be replaced.

if your machine is an LG , then le code means your motor senor or motor is faulty.if u r confident change sensor first.is it a top loader or front loader?the sensor is attached to motor. if u would like more help please reply. if u r getting service company 2 do job, ring around 4 prices on changing sensor or motor. this should save u money

IE = Inlet Error. Check for plugged screens where hoses screw onto machine (especially the cold side). Other possibilies are kinked hoses, valve shut off where hose goes to washer, or a bad inlet water valve (the part the hose screws onto), or even a bad control board or bad wire to water valve.
