I had bought new microSD for my bb bold 9700. it appears that my media card was 'not presently inserted in the device'. what's the matter?

you go into optins then advanced options and then sim card and you have to change the band numbers using the change bands option

i can help you but send me first your imei number and MEP so i calculate the MEP unlocking code for you...after you send me the IMEI ,this is the procedure in unlocking blackberry 9700..

. Go to settings menu => and then Options
2. Select Advanced options => and then Sim card
3. Type MEPD using your Blackberry keyboard (NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPD)
4. Type MEP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2 on your Blackberry keyboard (NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPD)
5. You should be presented with a prompt "Enter Network MEP Code". Type in the unlock code and press in the track wheel / jog dial to confirm
6. Your phone is now unlocked

Blackberry BT File Transfer is a little different than other handsets. when your wanting to receive a file transfer goto 'MEDIA' , select the type of media (picture, music, etc) click the 'BB Button' to get more options, and select 'Receive using Bluetooth' and then have your friend initiat the BT file transfer

It seems like their is some problem with your BB device. Kindly contact the Blackberry customer support/service center for warranty claim/replacement.

you should select the option "receive via bluetooth". in the media menu, press the menu button (the bb symbol) then select receive via bluetooth, then send the file. you will then be able to receive files from other phones.

This is a device issue. You will need to contact your service provider for replacement options!
