I have put a family settings password but i have forgot it

First of all open your facebook profile, go to account settings on the top right and then change the password from there

I'm not very familier with this device personally. Have you tried to restore it to Factory Default Settings? That should let you start over with the supplied password. Also if you never changed the password, check your packaging. Often login info is included with network devices.

Start with the PS3 system turned off. Press and hold the power button until you hear three consecutive beeps then let go. Then repeat step one again. This time the last beep will be two consecutive beeps. This will put your PS3 system into safe mode. Click option 2. Restore default settings. Warning This will Reset all Settings.

You must contact MS support. They will provide you a code that will allow you to reset your parental settings.

I've managed to come across this from someone who called microsoft with the same problem (it seems quite common)
Go into settings Console settings Then device settings (The one with the blue screen)
Then go:
left trigger, right trigger, x, y, left bumper, right bumper, left with left stick, up with left stick, right with left stick, x

If you have trouble use the pad instead of stick, but I could only get the stick to work..
