How to Download YouTube Video to Mobile?


  • YouTube is a popular video website that allows users to watch videos from around the world. Users no longer need to be confined to the computer to enjoy the videos; they can download the videos to watch on the go as well. Downloading YouTube videos is usually not allowed except for two instances: when a "Click to Buy" or "Download Your Own Videos MP4" option is available. The "Click to Buy" feature is in the testing phase, while "Download Your Own Videos MP4" is currently available for use.

    INSTRUCTIONS:


    1 Go to the YouTube website and log in or create a YouTube account
    2 Click "My Account."
    3 Select "Account Settings" and click "Mobile Upload Profiles."
    4 Click "Mobile Profile Update" button and complete the information.
    5 Click "Create Profile" button to be able to start downloading YouTube videos.
    6 Go to YouTube website on your Multimedia Message (MMS) enabled mobile phone.
    7 Browse and search videos available for downloading. The search function allows you to look for videos based on keywords.
    8 Click on the video that interests you to begin downloading.
    9 Watch your video using the player setting to play, start or stop the video.

    How to get an Acc for Vidoes longer than 10min. on YOUTUBE?

    To my knowledge, they have disabled that option on all new accounts. The only users allowed to upload longer than 10 minute vids are legacy users (ie: "gurus" before they made this policy change).
