I have an Asus P5NE SLI that doesn t boot. It gives me a long beep followed by 3 short beeps. Can you say what is the problem?

It seems to be a graphic card problem, or the power supply not giveing enoug power.

Try to change the graphic card.

If you are useing the onboard graphic, look for bad caps on the mainboard:

If they look like this, the mainboard is dead.

Turn on the computer and you get a long beep followed by two short beeps a pause the repeats. The mother board is a Asus A84-SLI Delux

1 long beep followed by two short beeps..
this Indicates a video error has occurred and the BIOS cannot initialize the video screen to display any additional information..
cause could be anything...
here are few - connections not connected or connected properly recent electrical storm caused a surge that damaged computer other hardware issues.. failing hardware device
solution (please note this is a labourious process)
first thing we need to isolate the problem.
remove any hard ware which is recently attached. remove external harddrives ....
open the cabinet.. reseat all the cables.. if it still gives you the same result then i am afraid could be a hardware problem...

ASUS m2n-e SLI video adaptor problem or pretty much shot

I had one of these motherboards. The USB shorted out and fried everything.

I would suggest returning whatever you can before its too late.

Yaa you are right. try to boot in Safe Mode and check out driver for display, otherwise you have to change your display card.......

remove the memory and gently clean it very well and then connect it back to motherboard. if got long beep then memory damage.(replace memory) if got tree short beeps, clean the video card and connect it after cleaning if got same beeps ( then replace video card) thats only only things. Good luck.
