The oven won't work, neither elements, both stopped working at once. Stove top elements still work normal, as well as all other functions, just no oven. Tried to find fuses and could not locate any. Can you please give me some advice?

It sounds like an electronic clock/timer problem. The clock must be in the manual mode for the oven to work. It sounds like it might be in auto. mode for both elements to stop working at the same time.

Top oven element on shacklock stove. Does it work on bake. My one only works on grill. What does that mean

Quite normal...top element is for grill/broil only. Bottom element is for bake only. If the grill element were to come on during baking a cake it'd burn the top of your cake to a crisp.
Some grill/broil elements cook at 500-700 degrees.

Broiler element doesn't heat

Oven Won Turn on

the broil element
is the heating element that is found at the top of the oven and produces a very high heat for broiling. If the broil element isn't working, you should first do a visual inspection for signs that the element has blistered or separated. If the element appears normal then you can check for continuity with a multi-meter. Remove power from the appliance before performing this test. Remove the back panel and locate the terminals for the broil element and inspect the terminals and wires for signs of overheating or damage.

If there is no continuity then the element will need to be replaced. If the wires are damaged then they will need to be repaired. If the element is ok then you will need to check the broil circuit to determine the cause. This involves live voltage checks and should only be performed by qualified persons. Components to check include fuses, if the range is equipped, and oven control thermostat or electronic control. Depending on the manufacturer of the element, you will normally read between 19 ohms and 115 ohms

My ariston oven won't turn on. The stove works and

check and see if the broil works in the oven ,2 if it turns on meaning the element in the top turns red then this generaly means both side of the switch are good. and you need to replace the element on the bottom of the stove.now turn off the stove .1st unplug the stove. 2nd there are 2 screws at the back of the stove on a metal plate which is attached to the element take them off.3rd gently pull out the element about 3 inches until you see 2 wires. there are 2 ways the wires could be connected either push on or by screws if you dont see a screw abviusly its push on. just grab the end of the wire ON the connecter and grab the elemnt at the connecter and wigglethe connector back and forth while pullin on the connecter. wala. now locate the model number and go to amazon.com or your local parts house and install in reverse

Hotpoint oven won't heat above 250 degrees broiler works fine as well as the stove top

either its the oven sensor rod located at the top of the ovens cavity,or your bake element could be getting a hot spot which is when it gets a discolored spot in the element and can no longer pass sufficient current to heat the oven past 250 degrees

My 790.94322302 Kenmore Oven & Broiler stopped working

The odds of both elements going out would be unusual.Tried to look up any other parts but the only other thing is the control module without having a wireing diagram. There should be one on the back of the stove if you can trace wires back from elements.I know that if the oven is in clean mode it over rides the oven controls. But with the electronic controlls don't think that it is possible.

The oven will not light on my Whirlpool gas oven Mod SF368LEPQ 2. The stove top burners still light.

Sounds like you need an bake element ignitor if the bake doesn't work but if the broil also doesn't work, it could be the electronic clock/timer control. the part number for the bake ignitor is 8054129 .Best off to call a reliable service company such as Sears.

Kenmore oven not working

Hi, You need to unplug the stove, take the back panel off and check continuity on the bake element or after the back panel is removed, plug the oven back in, and turn oven to bake. You should get 240Volts to the two terminals on the bake element. If you have 240 Volts, the element is bad and needs replaced. I can ship you the new element.

Hope this helps
