I HAVE A 50' PHILIPS MODEL 50PFP5332D/37 FLAT SCREEN TV. I BLEW A BREAKER ON THE TV PLUG IN WITH A PORTABLE HEATER. TURNED BREAKER ON TV CAME ON WORKED FINE. TURNED OFF. 1HR. LATER A RED BLINKING LIGHT WAS BLINKING ON THE FRONT WHERE "BLUE" LITE IS IN "ON MODE" IT WAS BLINKING 5 TIMES THEN SHORT PAUSE, THEN BLINK 3 OR 4 TIMES IN RAPID SUCCESSION. I CHECKED ALL CONNECTIONS BOTH ELECTRICAL AND CABLE ALL TIGHT. SAME THING. I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL THINGS, BUT STILL BLINKS. THE REMOTE DOES NOTHING I CAN TURN THE BLUE LIGHT OFF AND ON ON TV. BLUE LIGHT WILL STAY ON ABOUT 5 MINUTES, GO OUT, RED BLINKING STARTS. I UNPLUGGED TV FOR OVER 4 HRS. TRYING TO ''HARD RESTART" TV STILL SAME THIS TV IS ONLY 2 YEARS OLD. HELP PLEASE THANK YOU.

i replaced three cans. they were bulged on the top. i plugged the tv in and it did the same thing. i said it blinks 4 times fast but it is only three. blink code says 3=RESERVED. i pulled the the y-sustain plug off the power supply board and it does the same thing blinks 3 times fast. when it is powering up i hear a popping noise and then 2 green lites just to the right of where power cord plug is, they come back on then it pops again they go out, the 3 time it pops, lights go out, they stay out and the red light on the front blinks 5 slow , 3 fast. is there a place i can a picture so i can see where the y=sustain, power and where is the low B+fuse thank you pawpa28

HI:
This is a plasma unit and philips plasma's are nortorious for bad power supplys, your problem may very well be the power suppy in the television, it is possible you blew a low B+ fuse on the power supply. There is also a issue with the Y-sustain board failing in this model, If you open the back and looking at the unit from the rear the y board is on the left side of the unit and the PS is in the center. disconnect the Y-sustain power plug from the power supply and turn on the unit if the unit stays on with no red light then the y board is bad. it does the same then replace the Power Supply.

Philips 50'' Plasma TV model 50pfp5332D/37 GREEN BLINKING ON LOGIC BOARD

Main digital processor IC on the board has damaged. It is not a replaceable part, as normal soldering techniques cannot be applied to de-solder it out from the board, or to solder a new one in place. Card base replacement should be done.

My Philips flat screen tv model 50pfp5332d/37 I turned my tv on the blue light is on but nothing is on the screen it's making a clicking sound

It could be a power supply problem. In this model at least 2 capacitors, go bad in the power supply I think they're 1000uf/10V. If you look at the power supply board you will notice a bad cap with a blister on the top. The whole power board is from $100 - $200. I fixed a lot of these sometime the Y or sustain board goes bad. Visual inspection then measuring voltages..
Best of luck

Philips 50 Inch Plasma Model 50PF7320A/37 will not turn on

Commonly it's going to be a power supply related problem. The two boards that need to be looked at is the Main Power Supply Board or the power supply board for the screen. The one that powers the screen, some manufactures call it a Backlight Inverter Board.
If you have some electronic experience, you can sometimes find a Service Manual for the TV over the internet for less than $20. It will have the all resource material for repairing your TV model. It's just the matter of replacing the bad part on the circuit board.
