Sometimes the reset on that timer can be picky. Here is the snippet from the manual that suggests you hold the reset for 3 seconds:
If it were me I would skip using the remote and follow these steps using the panel on top of the projector (using the arrows, etc) . Hold the right arrow to get the reset until it shows, rather than trying to count the seconds...
(1) While the projector running, press the MENU button to open the menu.
(2) Choose "OPTION" , then press ENTER button.
(3) Choose "FILTER TIME", then press and hold the RESET button for 3 seconds.
(4) Choose "RESET" .
