Bad news if you're after firmware for the Corby 2GB MP301 mp3 player - the company's gone bust and the website no longer has downloads or support.

I haven't been able to locate the firmware to download.

The good news though is that someone's selling new Corby 2GB MP301 players for $14.97 with free shipping (but only until 19 Feb 2014). Maybe that's the way to ease your pain?

All you have to do is download Windows Media Player (if you dont already have it) and connect the device. You will be prompted to sinc the device to WMP and you can add music etc without having the actual Coby CD. I REALLY hope this helps!

For the MP200 you can download and install Coby Media Manager.
Open the internet page and enter cobyusa.com in the address bar.
Next select Support in the page top.
In the support page, under Knowledge Base, select Coby Media Manager fix for MP822: this is the download page for the complete program.
Scroll down to see the download link for Mac OS X 10.4 or later and follow the steps for how to install.

When you've installed Coby Media Manager, you'll be able to setup your player, the MP200:
In Coby Media Manager select Tools > Device Manager...
Select MP200 from the Devices List ; Add>> ; OK for having this player setup as your Favorite.
Use the Help function (F1) for how to use the manager.

1) cobyusa.com in internet explorer
2) select Support in the page top
3) select Coby Media Manager Fix for MP822:
The fix is the complete program actually, for installation of
Coby Media Manager.
Read the page: select and install the matching file for your operating system.

Run Coby Media Manager
In the page top select Tools > Device Manager...
Select the MP-610 (AC) or (AL) version from the devices list
Add >>
OK to setup your device
