When i try to use my phone, it starts to touch on things that i dont touch. example: if i try to text someone it will touch on a different name, and i can never text the right person.

I've had the same problem only when trying to text while plugged into someone else's charger. As soon as I remove it, it's fine.

basically ur qwerty kernel is all buggered. i suggest flashing the phone youll find a step by step guide via a search online. look for something like samsung s8000 flash guide?

It is hoped you bought this new because there is an issue with the digitizer(the glass plate that sits on top of your lcd screen and recognizes when you touch the screen). I've worked on tablets and phones for several years now and, unless you bought it new and with a warranty then your next step is to take it to a reputable phone repair service and have them replace the digitizer. If you hold the phone up flat and you can see ANY kind of separation between the LCD and the digitizer, then it will NOT function properly.

Sometimes you have to replace both the digitizer and the lcd as they are one piece.

I would try taking out the battery and resetting it that way.

IF that does not clear things up, you will probably need someone to reflash the OS with a fresh version. I assume it runs Windows Mobile 6.0?

try going setting phone settings and make sure that caller information is set to show

First you need to get into your phones setting, then touch the pannel for text messages and click get settings.

After you are in your settings there will be a pannel to put in your voice mail and text message number.

You then must go kill your self

Go into a new text message and hit the "send to" option. Scroll down to the first name above the line and hit the "options" button. Scroll down and select "Recent messages" and choose whoever from that list that you'd like to be your top 3. I actually just sent all three of mine a blank text, but when I went back to the "send to" list voila! MORE INFO: I tried all kinds of things to remove names from my top three recipients list. What ended up working was to send a text to multiple recipients at once. Two was enough. But it was important who I selected first. I sent a message to my wife and my friend. My wife's name got added back to my top three! Then I reversed and sent a message to my friend and to my wife. His name got added back!
