the lens has a wingnut knob on it, loosen the nut and then rotate the thing to focus in and out. there is also an electical focus in the front of the tv, there is a little black box called a focus block, 6 knobs , 3 focuses for each tube, 3 drive controls (screens).. dont turn the screens, just the focus for the color needed.. look closely they are labeled its just hard to see the front should pop off, remove what screws you can find, the rest are snaps.. really tough ones.. let me know if you need further assistance.
It's a message given when the internal lenses get jammed, possibly due to debris within the gears that move the focus. The "Focus Error" message can involve many FujiFilm models.
that's because you need to focus the cam. start turning the black dial clockwise until you can see the image in focus. it will take quite a few turns to see a difference. if you turn it like 10-15 times and there still isn't a difference, try turning it the other way about 25 times. hope this helps!!!!
G2 = screen...On the screen controls behind the front grill, behind the hardboard. 6 pots, 2 rows of 3 pots. 3 for focus and 3 for screens. 1 for each of the the red, green and blue guns/crts.
To adjust: Run set, change to black screen with tv/video button. Dial each screen clockwise untill you see a color. Then counterclockwise slowly untill that color goes black, then stop. Do this for all 3 screen controls.
If you need to adjust the focus then bring up lettering. I use the QVC channel for this. Focus is done by eye.
Try changing the coolant in the blue tube. Contaminated coolant will give a halo look to the affected tube and you will experience difficulty focusing that color.Phillips/magnavox's blue is the tube most often affected with the contaminated coolant issues.
On the back of the set, look for 2 controls labeled focus and screen. If the TV is working but you cannot see the picture, try turning the screen control up little by little and the brightness should come back. If this works then make sure the focus control is set so that the picture is nice and sharp.
If the specks are just on your viewfinder focussing screen, they won't be on your pics. If they're on both your pics and focussing screen, you need to find someone else to clean your camera. Cleaning either your CCD sensor or your screen yourself can leave scratches. Changing lenses often can suck dust into the inside if the body is dusty. Try another repair shop for thorough cleaning - it shouldn't cost more than $50.
