two different models one is lean it back two screws hold the complete base on and you just twist the pump off. the other you can access the pump from below the internal filter on the left one torx screw and you can see if there is anything blocking the pump. regards

SOURCE: I have a Neff S54M45XOGB

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. This issue can be either due to a faulty door latch or door lock switch which is not engaging itself. And, if the door latch will not engage the dishwasher will sense it as open door and will not start the cycle. The light also blinks when the dishwasher detects a no-fill condition. You’ll need to get access to the fill valve by removing left panel, look at back to see where valve is when you get to it remove one of the wires and set meter to ohms setting and put a lead on each tag on valve. The reading you should be about 3.6k ohm if you don’t get a reading then the valve is at fault. I'll also suggest you to check the detergent dispenser solenoid for this issue. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

SOURCE: When you switch the dishwasher

Says here the overflow pipe night be blocked and needs to be cleared. When it's cleared if you still get a code "F" and it is still trying to pump dispite no water then remove the side panel and you will more than likely see you have water in the base. Remove the water and run the dishwasher with the side panel off and look for a water leak.

Dishwasher is not cleaning, is there a diagram available to inspect/replace filter, check water pump, etc.

Take the dish rack out. look at the back bottom of the dishwasher. you will most likely see a screen. Check if there is food, or a toothpick or a thin sheet of plastic wrap covering the screen. Remove it. Clean the screen and bottom of the dishwasher of any debris. Put the rack back in. Load the dishwasher, put in the soap and turn it on. You should have nice clean dishes.

There are no error codes showing, water is definately getting hot but dishes on bottom tray not cleaning, i have used few products specially designed to clean the dishwasher itself without any dishes in,...

Check that the arms spin freely when spun by hand, then check the outlet jets at the trailing end of the arms are not blocked with food particles and other solid matter. This often happens and the arm is unable to turn because the water jet that is supposed to drive the arm does not have the force to rotate it with the result is that the upper dishes do not get enough water and chemicals. .

The front Load machine does not spin the excess water fron the wash on the final rinse. If I set the spin cycle again, it works ?

Most all front load machines have a pump filter. If the bottom front panel is removable, remove and unscrew filter. Clean filter

Dishes coming out dirty.have recommended water temp, washing on heavy load, tried different detergents but nothing is helping

Tear the lower spray arm tower down to the deck, noting the position and orientation of each piece as removed. When you get to the bottom, there is a large filter screen that needs to be soaked for an hour or so in a mixture of hot water, detergent, and white vinegar to remove food and water deposits. Check each of the holes in the deck for any obstructions. On reassembly, check the spray arms for cracks along any seams and for plugging of the small spray holes. Make sure the machine drains completely after final rinse.

Water remains at the bottom of the dishwasher

some dishwashers have water left after the final rinse. it is important to keep the motor seals wet between loads. My filter is always immersed. If we go away for two weeks, I put 2 litres of water into the tub and let it soak 24 hr so that I never start it with dry seals.

Standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher

I had the same problem - a 10 minute fix. The issue tends to be that the trap gets clogged by debris (like broken glass etc.) and restricts the amount of water that can be evacuated by the tub.

1. Undo the trap cover (two hex headed screws)
2. Remove the trap cover
3. Remove the inner trap grate
4. BE CAREFUL NOW ! Gently remove debris - this can have broken glass in it !!! - You can use a wet vac if you have one. Ensure all debrs is removed and the trap is clear.
5. Clean trap cover and grate
6. Re-install cover and grate
7. Bingo !

Kenmore Quiet3 not cleaning top rack, now stopped cleaning all

The problem is likely that the cutter/chopper filter is plugged. This reduces or eliminates water flow to the cleaning arms.
Solution:
Remove dish baskets
Remove bottom arm - Rotate the centre post until arm is free to be lifted out.
Remove conduit to top arm(s) - Remove 2 screws, one at top and one at back. Rotate whole conduit 45 deg right and lift off of centre post.
Remove bottom plastic assembly. - Remove 4 screws and lift off.
Remove cutter cap. - Remove 1 screw at front left. Lift off plastic cap. Remove cutter filter. It is on a spring loaded pin. Pull cutter blade foreword and lift filter disc straight up. Clean filter disc thoroughly
Reassemble!

Kenmore 655 ultra wash built in dishwasher

Possible problem is that the chopper/cutter filter is plugged. This prevents water circulation and therefor no water is available for cleaning.
Solution:
Remove the dish baskets.
Remove the bottom cleaning arm - Rotate the centre post and the arm can then be removed.
Remove the conduit that feeds the upper arm(s) - Remove screws, one at the back and one at the top. Rotate the whole assembly 45 deg right and lift off of the centre post.
Remove 4 screws in the plastic assembly and lift it off of the centre.
Remove 1 screw at left front (Under assembly just removed). Lift off the plastic cap which covers the cutter/chopper. Remove the chopper. It is on a spring loaded pin. Pull the cutter foreword while lifting the filter disc straight up. Thoroughly clean the filter disc - a knife will be req'd to scrape in clean.
Reassemble in reverse to the disassembly steps.
