    Help, my 6300 turns off on its own and shows a blank screen and then restarts again. Also it keeps receiving the same sms again and again and the time zone is haywire eg. missed calls are in pm but it shows am. Is it the software or the hardware or the sim card? :( If i need to reformat, i dun have the code. My 6300 imei no is 359544010756561

Hey dear,

I am using Nokia 6300 since last 7-8 months, i would like to help you for that,
Option 1 :

Your settings are restored but you might not know abt it as messages and phone book stays intact, rest of the settings after you purchased, which you have customised are restored.

Option 2:

You can update the complete software of your phone this may resolve your problem of restore factory settings, I remove memory card while taking back up and updating the software as it takes time to back up the data and you may loss the data.

Option 3:
You should visit the Nokia care center if you're unaware about both the option.

Option 4:

To format your memory card go to gallary just keep selected your memory card and go to option you will find format memory card.

I hope you might get solve your problem, and my answers are helpful to you.

One more option :-

hard reset your phone hard reset using this code *#7370# (ALL DATA WILL BE DELETED)
