most times, if you have a file like the "BootMGR" it could probably mean that either you simply erased it and need to retrieve it in the waste baskert or you have a virus that does disable you from rebooting in order to get rid of the virus, in which case..you need to get rid of the virus by a professional or special software.
You need the F-Secure rescue disc which will scan and clean your system efore it boots up. You will need to download it on another PC and burn it to disc then boot your PC with the disc. Full instructions and download here
Virus are never removed by rebooting a computer, unless by "rebooting" you mean re-initializing or re-installing the operating system.

reboot is simply mean restart ur pc and load the software and necessary file during booting. If any system file is lost then u will need system boot disc for either repair or format ur sytem.
There could be several things wrong but with the information provided, I am going to say that you have a virus and/or spyware. Run a complete scan on system with both antivirus and spyware remover. Rid of all spyware. If you have Limewire, delete it and reboot. This should stop the computer from rebooting.
Hi.. first of all when ur system gets attacked by virus or threats its difficult to perform delete operations. The only best way is to format ur system with the help of XP cd. This XP cd will reboot ur operating system so that all viruses and threats available in ur C drive will get deleted... So the only option is to re install ur OS with XP cd...
To get rid of the virus and set it back "just as you bought it", reformat the hard drive and install a new operating system with your recovery or operating system disc. If you use the built in quick recovery system, the virus will remain, and continue to cause damage to the system.
