After juicing just a few fruits and vegetables the machine start jumping all over the counter and vibrating really fast.

I had this same problem until I discovered that I was simply trying to go too fast. I think the problem arises when too much still-juicy pulp (as opposed to well-juiced, nearly dry pulp) gathers in the pulp basket. When I inserted the produce more slowly, I was able to get quite a lot of juice (more than a quart) before the problem reasserted itself. At that point, it was simply time to clean the basket.
