When I tried paying my fifa 11 on pc and when I clicked play a new window opened and it said E001. What does it mean and can you tel me what to do to sort the problem. thank you

This error (e 001) generally occurrs when your graphic card is not supporting FIFA 11. This issue can't be removed unless you get a better graphic card.

This error means that you PC doesn't support Fifa 11. You will have to upgrade your computer to get this game to work.

E001 error for FIFA 11 - Means your Graphic card is not supported in playing the game. You need to upgrade your Graphic card which support at least the "Shader Mode 3" function.

Most of the onboard graphic cards does not support this function and you get the E001 error when you play the game. Updating your DirectX or graphic card drivers is no help at all because is a hardware compatibility issue.

Hi. The bad news is that you probably do not have a graphics card that will support the game. Some of the graphics tools used to create FIFA 11 are not supported by your card (or your embedded graphics card, if that is the case). You may wish to try the Microsoft solutions suggested in the link that follows, but I don't think they will work for you.

If your system does not support the above hardware requirements you cannot play this high graphics games & your get the E001 error.

Error e001, starting the game fifa 11

Most probably your video card does not support "Shader Mode 3 or higher".
Get a better video card.

What are your system specs? Have you updated your graphics card driver and installed the latest directx redist. In the fifa11 zip file there is a redist folder, make sure you install everything in there as well. Also, try updating your sound card driver, it may be conflicting.


Take note**
Chipsets used in models
NVIDIA GeForce 7300, 8100, 8200, 8300 und 9300,
ATI Radeon HD3200, HD4350 and
Intel/S3 do not satisfy the hardware requirements.
