Before 4 days i am purchase reliance net connection card to access internet.But when i am install the driver CD in my Samsung laptop but not connected yet.how to access internet.

Simply installing PC studio is not all done.In your PC studio you will get a internet connector widget,use this for installing dial up connection.Before this You have to activate GPRS on your mobile and then using prorper access point you are ready to use internet from your mobile.This is tried and tested by me

i am using reliance net connect broadband..it is working well on the computer.. but yesterday i bought a new laptop and when i tried to use net..it is showing the 718 error..that the system did not respond in the limited time...i uninstalled it and installed it twice! but i still cannot connect it! plz help..

Possible cause:

The hard drive contains all the necessary drivers that makes the computer function and that includes Internet connection. When you installed the operating system and all other software it does not mean you installed the driver for the motherboard which contains the drivers for the LAN.

Solution:

Run the drivers CD that came with the motherboard. If you don't have the CD. contact the PC manufacturer for the driver CD. Otherwise, you can purchase an add on NIC(network interface card).

1. if you have wireless, purchase or borrow an add on usb wireless stick. this will allow you to access the internet and add in your missing drivers. 2. or add in a pci card that has ethernet connection to get your drivers. 3. use someone elses computer and download the drivers from the IBM site, put them on a usb stick and then apply them to your unit, (ie more the ethernet driver as a primary and then you can download the remaining ones as you go after it is working. hope this helps.

So u can connect to the router, but you arent allowet to access the internet?
The router gave your dell a new ip-number, but it dident gave you access to the net. You ned to do the settings in your router manual, let the router give your dell full access.

I also purchased CDMA 1x but i have good speed. change modem setting put "DNS" 8.8.8.8 & "Alternate DNS" 8.8.4.4 and type in "Static Ip address" 8.8.8.8.now connect internet check speed.it's not high speed we are satisfied.bye.
