Typically easily resolved. Shut down the phone, remove the battery, wait a bit (30 seconds should do) and replace the battery. Your phone should boot without safe mode. Good luck.

Samsung Galaxy Mega: How to turn off Safe Mode:

Press power off.. let phone turn off completely.
Then power phone back on.. no other buttons need to be pressed at same time.

The buttons you are pressing in the sequence you just described is the way to activate safe mode.. that is why you are still in safe mode.

:)

When you powered on your device before when it appeared, you probably accidentally pressed the volume down button to activate safe mode. Next time be careful how you hold your phone when powering on.

How do I turn off "safe mode" on a Samsung Galaxy S4?

To turn off
Powering down , then back on should do the trick. Be sure to completely down. Do not select "restart". If you still have problems, remove back cover and pull battery from device. Leave the battery out for about 60 seconds, then place the battery back in, assemble the rear cover and start the phone again.
Some galaxy s4 models may require you to press and hold the volume down button during start-up in the same manner as enabling it to exit safe mode.

How do i turn off safe mode on a samsung galaxy ace

Safe mode in Galaxy Ace s5830
To START "Safe Mode" use both hands to Press the Home Key (bottom centre) and then simultaneously Press BOTH the Power (right hand side) key, and the Volume-Up (left-hand side) key. When the Samsung Galaxy logo appears, release the sides' Power and Volume-Up keys but keep the Home key pressed. Safe Mode should come on shortly. SIMPLY DOING THIS SAME KEYING SEQUENCE, WHILE THE PHONE SHOWS "SAFE MODE" IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER OF THE SCREEN, SEEMS TO TURN THAT "SAFE MODE" OFF. Safe Mode prevents Third Party Apps running, apparently.
