The microwave heats up fine but the blower motor does not come on right away. After a couple of minutes you can hear the motor start - stop and at the end finally works fine.

Rheire could be a number of reasons for this problem i would start by checking the connections to the blower motor may just be loose connectors that dont make a good conection until heated up then check for power to the motor when unit is opperating if none it will be in the control panel if power is present replace motor.

After approx a minute a regular squeak begins, occasionally missing a beat.Heating is fine.

If the "frequency" of the squeaking is a low frequency, the I would suspect the turntable motor or stirrer motor (if so equipped).

If it is a higher frequency, I would suspect the cooling fan or hood fan motor.

Frigidaire FMV156DC 950 Microwave sometimes stops heating

This sounds like a common primary interlock switch. Need to check and or replace both door switches. DISCHARGE high voltage components first with no power applied prior to touching anything in the unit. Failure to discharge High Voltage Components can result in death

My xl1800 spacesaver microwave makes a loud squeaky sound when it's running. When I stop it I can hear the spinning slowing down and the sound goes away until I restart it. I'm afraid that it may blow up....

HI, this may be just an isolated issue that concerns the integrity of the fan housing, or fan itself. the motor may be failing slowly. A mis-aligned fan shroud can cause this as well.

I recommend removing the cover to check for any visible signs of misalignment around the fan housing. if the housing is not shifted or loose, the fan motor will be the culprit.

Have it replaced asap, in this case.

The microwave stopped heating. Everything else is working fine.

Ok, concerning the heating issue. you will need to replace the Magnetron to restore the heating feature in this unit. this device is damaged.

Concerning the motor(circulation). If the motor is not working, this will damaged the Magnetron, due to poor circulation. i recommend replacing the motor asap.

In conclusion, you will need to replace the Magnetron and the circulation motor as well. replacing these two vital devices will fix your issues. the total cost for these parts are estimated at $87.90

Whirlpool(GH7145XF2-0) does not work occasionally

That's how it would sound if you were cooking on a power level less than full power.

If you enter the cooking time and hit Start, it should cook at full power by default and not cycle like you describe.

If you are using some sensor cook setting or automatic type cooking setting, it may cycle like that normally.

The first thing to try is a "hard reset". Unplug it from the power line for a minute, plug it back in, set the clock, then try again.

Let us know if the hard reset doesn't fix it.

If you don't have your manual, you can download it free here. Check the lower right area to enter your model. number.

Sharp Covection Oven/Microwave stops after 1min on any setting

This 59-second stop failure is due to a problem in one of the damper-related components, most likely the switch, but it may also be the motor or the damper door.

The damper is a door inside that opens or closes depending on cooking mode. If the controller thinks that the door is not in the right position, it will shut down the cook cycle.

See the attached sample photo.
