Do you mean "Modus 13"?

See picture 6...

Put the jumpers back in as shown. Hook your speaker leads to either top or bottom. The entire array of drivers will be active.

Make your receiver aware they are LARGE for the purposes of bass reproduction so some bass will get out to them. FYI, many AVR's will only allow Large Rear speaker selection if you also have Large Fronts. Refer to the manual(s).

My celestion s20 subwoofer won't play if i hook it up to sub out on receiver.but will play if i run a regular speaker wire to it. I know sub out is working on receiver.

Tell your source (receiver???) that it has a sub and set it up to feed LFE out of that RCA jack.

Prove your sub pre-out works. Or send something like FM on Tape Out to the sub and see how that works out.

How did you hook a speaker wire to this model of powered sub? What was on the other end of that speaker wire? It's not designed for speaker level input.

How to hookup

hi,
if u want to hook up the sub with ur av receiver the connect the sub woofer output of ur AVR to any one (left or right) input of ur sub woofer. then connect its power . set the frequency range between 90 and 120Hz. set the volume of sub woofer to 40% of its total. also check the av receives speaker setting. goto speaker setup and make ON the sub woofer out.

if want to connect the sub to a stereo amp without sub out. then connect the amps speaker line to the speaker input of sub woofer and connect the speaker out of sub to left and right speaker ( make sure to connect the red to red and black to black). set the volume and frequency as above

Amp playing speakers very quietly

it sounds like you have the polarity of the speakers hooked up wrong on one of them, try unhooking the new speakers you added and hook them back up one by one, when the music gets fuzzy then reverse the wires for that speaker, this should cure your problem.

Speaker connection from Denon AVR 2105 to Wharfedale suround

The spkrs sound like they are bi-amp spkrs, meaning you have multiple terminals on the backs of each spkr, the jumpers on the spkrs should be connected as such. Now you just connect the spkrs according to the Denon spkr conection diagram. Do not use the surround back unless you have 6 or 7 pair of spkrs

Can't get the surround sound to play the rear speakers and small front speaker

Sounds like it's just in 2 channel stereo mode, only 2 speakers working out of 5 and a sub, look for a selector switch for switching to 5.1 surround, as far as the no video problem try replacing the cable for the video connection.
