You can buy an adaptor for the card (I assume you have a micro SD card and your camcorder takes a standard or mini SD card). Try a camera shop for adaptors. It will cost only a little bit more to buy the correct size card.

Added 1G memory, for a total of 2GB. the system still only sees 1G

If you installed total 4GB memory, the system will detect less than 4GB of total memory because of address space allocation for other critical functions, such as:

- System BIOS (including motherboard, add-on cards, etc..)
- Motherboards resources
- Memory mapped I/O
- configuration for AGP/PCI-Ex/PCI
- Other memory allocations for PCI devices

Different onboard devices and different add-on cards (devices) will result of different total memory size.
e.g. more PCI cards installed will require more memory resources, resulting of less memory free for other uses.

On a SLI system, since PCI-Ex graphic cards will occupy around 256MB, another 256MB will be occupied after you install a 2nd PCI-Ex graphic card. Hence, 2.75GB memory left only if two SLI cards installed on A8N-SLI Premium while 3.0GB memory left with one graphic card without other add-on devices.

This limitation applies to most chipsets & Microsoft Windows 32-bit version operating systems.

If you install Windows 32-bit version operating system, we recommend that you install less than 3GB of total memory. If more than 3GB memory is required for your system, then below two conditions must be met: 1. The memory controller which supports memory swap functionality is used. Chipsets later than Intel 975X, 955X, Nvidia NF4 SLI Intel Edition, Nvidia NF4 SLI X16, and AMD K8 CPU architecture support memory swap function. 2. Windows 64-bit OS which can address more than 4GB memory. You can check below URLs for reference:

hope this helps

When i install team micro sdhc 4gb memory card in kodak easyshare z612 it says format .i select format but it keeps asking to format or cancell

First check make sure the SDHC card is unlocked I'll provide a diagram for that also I just checked your camera's memory capacity and it's only good for a 1 gig SD card which if using an SDHC memory card might go to 1.5 stretch to 2gig maybe but not a 4gig. My first impression is you got to much memory card for the camera. You might be able to go to the Kodak site and download updated firmware to allow the camera to function with the larger card but that's a maybe as well.
Here are the diagrams

And the memory capacity chart for your camera

I baught a 4 gig memery card and put it in my player and it does not make any differentas

The e250 uses microSD cards. Your 4GB card is actually a microSDHC card and will not work in the e250. You need to limit yourself to microSD cards, which are 2GB at the largest.

You'll also need to put your music into a folder named "MUSIC" on the card. Pictures and videos will have to remain in the main memory.

HOW TO REMOVE WRITE PROTECTION FROM 4GB PENDRIVE

I would need make/model info for specific instructions, but generally there is a small switch with a locked padlock graphic on one side and an unlocked padlock graphic on the other. Slide the switch to unlocked side and off you go.

Just baught pny-4gb sdhc card, asks to format-no luck

You may have the card locked so that the format isn't taking. Verify that there isn't something that is physically preventing the format. If the slide is in the locked position move it to the opposite side.

How to format my 4gb memory card for my motorola phone using my kodak easyshare camera

You don't mention what model of Motorola phone you have, but most (if not all) that accept a memory card have a format option. I would use the phone format function rather than the camera.
