Intec wireless controller won't sync to my ps3 it is the infinite play controller can you help me

Had a similar problem with an official Sony Dual Shock 3 recently. Turns out the solution was a very small pin hole sized reset button on the back of the controller. Have a look and see if yours has something similar, then try connect the charging cable again and sync. Worked on the official one for me anyway :/
Best of luck!

I did exactly what the instructions said to do with the controller, I turned on the PS3, then plugged in the controller, turned it on, then puched the sync button, then plugged in the 2.4 wireless stick...

If the wireless remote has a USB plug, the remote has to be temporarily connected to the PS3 to physically sync. Once that is accomplished, the remote will always work.

My new Ps3 infinite play controller will not syncorize.

There are a few cases like this all over the web. This is mostly becaus esome versions of the controller are not designed to sync without following certain procedures.
One of these procedures is that for you to sync your controller, you have to connect it with your usb cable before turning it on.
This is the most common way to solve this problem, if this doesn't work, you can try looking through your manual for the reset button and see if using that helps you, though its not very likely to but its worth giving a trial.
If you still have problem after this, you have to return the controller to the place where you got it from.
Hope this solution was helpful to you? Please comment for more information and thank you for using fixya.

How do you hook up a ps3 remote control to play games with the ps3 remote.

    1. Turn off your PS3 console and disconnect it from the power supply.

    2. 2

Insert the USB cable provided with your console into an open contoller port. The controller ports are found on the left side of the front of the PS3.

    3. 3

Insert the other end of the USB cable into the back of the wireless remote controller that you want to sync with the PS3.

    4. 4

Reconnect the power supply to the PS3 and turn it on. The wireless remote control should sync automatically with your console. If it does not begin automatically, press the "PS" button at the center of your controller. This will begin the process. Once the sync is complete, you can disconnect the USB cable and the controller will communicate with your PS3.

Hi, i have lost the instructions on how to perform the controller link with my ps3. could you give me a step by step walkthrough? thanks (this is for the ps3 infinite play wireless controller)

It should be as easy as plugging in the controller to the PS3 unit by using the usb cord and then pressing the PS3 button on the controller. That's how the original controller works.

Good luck.

Infinite play wireless controller turbo

I believe that it's a typo. You can only use turbo on one button at a time. Try it.

Press and hold the Turbo button, and press the button you want to use turbo with. If it doesn't work, your controller could be faulty and you may have to return it.

We have an Intec G7789 Infinite Play wireless controller and we can't get it to work with our PS3. We have tried everything that the instructions say but it won't connect.

I dun really know how I did it, I had the same problem as u guys. And I try all sorta method.
  1. the last method that I tried was to leave my USB receiver thing in and then restart my ps3. With my controller turned off.
  2. After the PS3 restarts, I turned on my controller.
  3. Then I pressed the home and link button together. And those 4 lights on ur controller will flash really fast.
  4. Then I replugged my USB receiver, and the controller light will flasher a lot slower.
  5. Then just press "home" and the controller should sync with your PS3.
  6. And after that NEVER remove ur USB. LOL. After that, everytime u turn on ur PS3 just press the home button and the controller should sync with ur PS3.
  7. And remember to always to turn on ur PS3 before u turn on your controller.
Well that's my solution, if it doesn't work for u then sorry. Get a refund. I was planning to get a refund but then everything luckily worked out. Good luck and keep trying.
