I have a free standing double fan oven, the condensation drips from the bottom of the door, and creates a puddle of water on the floor below, there is plenty of ventilation around the oven, can you help. This only happens when cooking the Sunday roast or similar, not when baking cakes or pastry.

If the fan is working o/k, then you need to fit a new oven element located behind rear cover of oven compartment.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Your oven should be connecting individually to its own fuse in the fuse board.

SOURCE: The main oven inner glass door panel has shattered

Unfortunatey, it happens quite frequently, there is no one reason for it to do so.
The only solution is to replace it.
Over a number of years use, the glass looses it's properties, and this is what can happen.

GE monogram double oven . Self cleaning top oven and F9 in red showing and beeping noise

F9 is a problem with the oven door lock circuit. If the door is locked, it's probably a bad switch that tells the oven it's locked. If the door isn't locked, it's probably a problem with the lock mechanism.

A common problem on many built-in GE ovens (you don't say if yours is built-in or free standing...) is air circulation in the control panel. The fan that keeps the panel cool either stops working or gets clogged with dirt/dust and can't move any air. This causes the panel to overheat and can cause all kinds of odd problems and error codes. If you have a built-in, check to make sure the fan is working and the mesh screen behind it is clean.

CAN I INSTALL A DOUBLE WALL OVEN ON THE FLOOR?

Hi,

You will have to check with the installation instructions to be sure but as a rule of thumb the answer is no. The reason being is that most wall ovens vent the heat out the bottom, if it is too close to the floor the heat will damage the floor and can be deflected back up to the fan inlet and cause the oven to overheat and can cause damage.

If you have the complete model number from the tag just inside the door I can find the installation instructions for you.

How do I take off the glass on my oven door to clean it?

I have a Kenmore oven and all I had to do was remove the screw at each end of the handle (accessed with the door open) and the very front section just opened up - SIMPLE!! Wiped it down put the screws back in. Did it all by myself - just have your cleaning cloth in reach before you start. Can't believe I looked at those drips for years and it was that simple!!!

Water leaking on cooktop when using oven.

is there a fan for venting with this unit, if there is you will need to turn it on while cooking, it helps dissipate any steam or oil particles that move into the air, hopefully this will solve your problem, if you do have a fan and it is running, you may want to check the screen and clean it,as build up will cause the fan feature to not work as intended, thanks for your question,
