  1. Plug in your iPod to your computer and run iTunes.
  2. Sync your device.
  3. Re-check to make sure that song is under that specific playlist (if its not drag it onto the playlist)
  4. Make sure the box next to the song in iTunes is checked meaning it will sync with your iPod and your playlist.
  5. Apply the changes you have made to the playlist by re-syncing your iPod.
  6. If the box is checked and you sync your device the song should be listed under your playlist.

I will try and make this as short as possible and hope you understand what I am asking. I just got an Ipod Classic last month and signed up with Itunes and then downloaded about 1300 songs from my cd...

You can't "backwards sync" (put music from your iPod back onto your computer) through iTunes. When you went to sync after you got your fixed computer back, I'm assuming iTunes tried to copy what was in iTunes (nothing) to your iPod, which probably is what caused these problems.

Assuming you still have the music on your iPod, I would recommend transferring the music from your iPod back to your computer (to a folder other than iTunes), restoring your iPod to factory settings, then moving all of the music files into iTunes and re-syncing your iPod.

There are two programs that are available to transfer songs from your iPod back onto your computer. The first is iDump and the second is YamiPod. I have found that iDump is the better of the two.
The link for iDump is:

Hope this helps!

How do i create a playlist?

Creating a playlist differs from device to device. If for example you have an iPod, in itunes you can use File>New Playlist. You can drag tracks to the playlist and then sync your iPod. However if you have an MP3 player which supports drag and drop files onto the device, just create a folder called Playlist1 for example and add all the songs you would like in the playlist to the folder and play it as an album on the MP3 player. Hope this helps.

Download iTunes from Acer notebook to iPod nano 8gb

iPod offers three ways to transfer music from your computer. You can select one of the following update modes from the iPod Preferences menu in iTunes:
1. Automatically update all songs and playlists. This is the default mode, in which your entire music library, including playlists, is automatically synched to your iPod. If the music library on your computer exceeds the iPod storage capacity, iTunes will offer to choose a selection of songs to sync to iPod.
2. Automatically update selected playlists. With this option, iTunes automatically copies only the playlists you have selected to iPod when you connect it to the computer. This option can be selected by accessing the Music tab of the iPod settings.
3. Manually manage music. You can also choose to transfer music to iPod manually. This allows you to drag and drop individual songs and playlists from iTunes to iPod. You can find this option by accessing the Summmary tab of the iPod settings.

How do i download my own songs to the ipod

download the latest version of itunes from here
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Then install the program.
Copy your music over to itunes either by copying your CD's or importing your music that you already have on your computer, you can do this by going to File>add folder to library or add file to library and go to where your music is and import. This will convert your music to be played in itunes and to be recognised by your ipod. Once you have done this, create a playlist of music that you want on your ipod. Go to File>new playlist. and rename the playlist to a name more suitable. Then select which songs you want on your ipod by righ-clicking the song and send to playlist, select the playlist that you just created. Once you have your playlist and are happy that you have all of the songs that you want, plug your ipod into the computer, itunes will pick the ipod up and load the necessary drivers for it. You will notice a little picture of your ipod on the left hand side of the screen, click on it then click on and update your ipod with your playlist.

I hope this helps
