That yellow light on sonne older modelks is just showingbtge power is on. I never heard of a chest freezer having a "quick freeze" feature. This feature would also require forced air cooling and auto defrost. If the walls get frost on ghr m t hen Im betting that is ju st a power light although it may say freeze or something else like that. Its just so when you see the yrllow light you know there is power.
Good Morning, thank you for your question! This particular
unit is a 12-13 cubic foot freezer. If you have further questions, please do
not hesitate to reconnect.
No. It could be green, red, white, IR, and colored light will work if it's the right wattage and the same bulb barrel, then it will workie...he,he,he,he, awesome colored lights in one freezer---never though of that before, wonderful...GB ya. stewbison
Is this just a "Power-on" light to let you know it's plugged in and has power? This is probably just a "neon" (although the actual gas inside is hydrogen for the green color) bulb and sometimes they will do the flickering thing literally forever. In a way it's a good thing as it makes you look at it. If it really concerns you, or if it is actually a warning that something is going wrong (it should say in the manual, you DO have the manual don't you?) have it fixed under the warranty.
