IPad and iPhone have some limitations regarding bluetooth connectivity. I believe you will need an external application depending what do you want to do.

For the people who just upgraded from a relatively old iPhone to the new iPhone 6, they may like to transfer some of the wonderful photos from the old device to the new one. Every iPhone user knows that we can transfer photos from iPhone to iPhone via Photo Stream. However, it requires two device are log into the same Apple ID and iCloud account, and it only sync when the 3G/4G/Wi-fi network is available. What if the network is not stable and you want to selectively transfer photos from iPhone to iPhone 6? So, in this tip, I will talk about how to transfer pictures from iPhone to iPhone 6 via Photo Stream and an iPhone content manager - AnyTrans.

How to Transfer Photos from iPhone to iPhone 6 via Photo Stream

Step 1. Go to Settings from your iPhone > Scroll down to Photos & Camera >Toggle "My Photo Stream" to ON position.

Step 2. Do the same with your iPad. Make sure the same iCloud account is connected to both devices by going to Settings > iCloud.

How to Transfer Photos from iPhone to iPhone 6 via AnyTrans

Step 1. Open up AnyTrans, and connect both your iPhone 6 and iPad to computer. Enter the manage page of your iPhone.

Step 2. Select "Photos" > Choose photos you want to transfer from Camera Roll/Photo Stream/Photos Library/Photo Share/Album/Panoramas.

Step 3. Choose the photos you want to transfer, and click the To Device button to transfer pictures from iPhone to iPad.

If a message says that an update is available, you could then click "Install Now" button to start to update your iPhone iOS software. Also, you could manually check whether there is an iPhone iOS update or not on your iPhone. The below steps would show you how to update iPhone software wirelessly:
  1. Before you update iPhone software via WiFi connection, you need to make sure your iPhone has enough storage and battery to support the iPhone update.
  2. Connect your iPhone to a WiFi network.
  3. Tap "Settings > General > Software Update" successively.
  4. Tap "Download and Install" option when your iPhone has detects an update available. If a message asks to temporarily remove apps because iOS needs more space for the update, tap Continue or Cancel. Later, iOS will reinstall apps that it removed.
  5. Then iPhone would start to download and install iOS update immediately. You only need to wait for the update complete.

Since the iOS 9.1 update, my iPhone 5 has lost all Bluetooth connections and I cannot make them reconnect?
  • Turn off Bluetooth and restart your iPhone or iPad.

iPhone will only connect to another iPhone/iPad etc it wont connect with a blackberry to transfer anything you need to try get your content to your computer and sync your details to your iphone via itunes, what type of handsfree do you have? If its not compatible with the iphone it wont connect.
