Hello my Toshiba B-Sa4TM printer states paper jam but there isn't anything jammed? i don't have a clue how to calibrate the sensors any ideas??

You may have a mis alignement of the detecting cells.
The arrow on the top part of the cells should be on the round hole on the bottom part. (Green plastic mecanism)

Have you checked the port Number.
Tec use port number 8000 and the standard default in windows 9100. Either you change on your printer or in the driver.

B-sx4t keep paper jam, i was replace the media sensor ,sensor cable and mainboard but still paper jam.Any one experience this?

Paper jam:
- The label is not correctly declared.
- Callibarate the sensors (5 sensor adjust) diagnostics menu
- the silicoe support is too thick.

Feed PAuse button pressed and switch on Keep button prressed until message (1)Diag ...
with feed goto 5 sensor adjustements.
Pause to enter the menu
select the sensor you want to calibrate!.
Feed or restart button for 5 seconds until a star appears.
Switch off and on the calibration is stored in Eprom

Hi, my sx4 printer keeps giving me a ribbon eror messages and isn't printing...what can I do? i already tried putting in a new ribbon but still doesn;t work.

put some paper on the ribbon cord and try printing.

PAPER JAM

Paper jams can be tricky to solve. The paper is usually stuck inside the printer mechanism so even if there is no visible paper jam, you will still get the paper jam error. Try this:

1. Turn off your printer
2. Open all trays and remove any paper stuck there
3. Locate the button to open the printer, open it and remove any paper stuck there also.
4. Repeate the above step for all buttons that you can find to access the inside of the printer
5. Close all doors and put back all trays
6. Turn on your printer

Paper jam error message

This problem is a detection problem, due to a bad sensor selection or incorrect label size.

If the labels are white labels with a separation between each, select TRANSMISSIVE. If the labels are preprinted, select the TRANSMISSIVE PREPRINTED LABELS and set the threshold doing this.

With the printer in ONLINE, press PAUSE once, the message PAUSE appears in the display, press and hold on the PAUSE key, TRANSMISSIVE is displayed, release the key and press PAUSE until labels starts to feed, let feed some labels (5 or 6) and release the key. Press Restart and start to print.

Steps To Resolve Toshiba TEC B-SX4 Paper Jam Problems:

Turn off the Toshiba printer and unplug it
Open the top cover of it and turn the head Lever to free position. Then open the ribbon shaft holder plate and the print head block
Remove the media and ribbon. Don't try to use any sharp tools and implements for doing this as these might damage your printer parts.
Remove the jammed media form the Toshiba printer and clean the printhead by removing any further dust or substances
Reset your printer back to default settings
