To find out your mac id do the following:
1) make sure wireless is on

2) open wireless lan settings (goto start -> settings --> wireless lan)

3) click on advanced tab

get it form htc site. it is activesync

Since this is a touch screen model, press start button on the top right, which will open a menu. You will find settings in the menu dropdown.

you'll have to install a different rom, in fact a WWE one, it stands for world wide english. head on over to www.xda-developers.com and look in the htc elf topic, don't forget to jump-spl the phone before flashing a different rom
