Not so much a problem, more curiosity and the lack of a manual to explain the flashing LED. There are 2 batteries with a LED each. I swapped the 2 batteries over to see if the flashing LED followed the battery and it worked fine with the batteries swapped! They even charged normally. I still have no idea why the LED was flashing?

not sure if this does it for you, but there are USB battery chargers on Ebay for this camera. I've got the same problem and that's all I've found - so far.

This recharger must be for several types of batteries, which is why it this battery seems not to fit in it. I, too, was perplexed until I looked at the icons on the recharger and the icons on the battery. When looking at the recharger with the LED on the left, place the battery in the top right corner. It just fits and will fall out if you nudge it just a bit. HTH.
