Hello,

Since the tape won't come out then it means you will have to manually remove the stuck tape. This involves you disassembling the unit in order to help/assist the player get the stuck tape out.

Turn of the unit and remove from the wall, get a Philip screw driver, use it to remove all the screws from the unit and take it apart.

Open the cover and you will see the stuck tape and what's hooking or preventing it from coming out/ejecting.

Now plug the unit, and turn it on. Press the eject button, as the tape tries to come out, support it with your hand so that it can come out.

Or if it happen that the cassette tape has coiled inside the unit, carefully free the coiled tape and the press the eject button.

Lastly, the moment you disassemble the player, you would see what's preventing it from coming out, then you can free whatsoever that is making it stuck press the eject button and the tape should come out.

Make sure the unit is turned off each time you want to remove what's making the cassette stuck.

I hope understand the above explanations.

Good luck.

That tape is probably history so don't try to reuse it even if it appears undamaged since it may have contaminants on it that has fouled the rotating head.
While you have the machine open, use a fiber-free towel or cloth and carefully rotate and wipe the drumhead with the cloth and a little alcohol (preferably pure) to ensure the next tape is not eaten as well; especially if the tape was wound around the head.
Make sure no fibers are visible on the drum where the heads are located since they may have air-space around them.
This surface must be totally clean and dry.

There will also be a rubber drive roller of ~3/4" diameter and if it appears to have any deposits on it, clean it too and the capstan it contacts when playing.

I start to play a VCR tape and it just stops playing and the machine turns off. This doesn't happen with a DVD, however.

The VCR tape will turn off when spools are Jammed to prevent breakage of the tape. Take out the VCR cassette and put a thick pencil in the each sprocket hole and try winding in the right direction (which means when you manually wind the tape the other spool should unwind without resistance). If you feel resistance the sprockets are jamming. Knock the cassette on a hard surface without breaking it and usually it will free the jam. If does not help then carefully open the the cassette screw and re-position the sprockets.

Singer 3321 Talent Sewing Machine jammed after one turn forwards or backwards, even when thread and needle removed it won't work

This sounds more like the motor is bound up. The other solutions are, check for thread wrapped around moving parts, any belts that may have become displaced.

Unit accepted cassette, won't eject

It is likely that either the drive belt has broken or is slipping. Because the unit is still in "play" mode, the mechanism won't let the door open up. If you have not opened up these units before, do not attempt it now. This unit should be taken to an experienced tech for repair. Where are you located?

Error 2 on Front Panel

I'm not sure if this is a solution, but it cleared up the problem for me. It turned out there was a loose paper label for the cassette that got stuck inside the VCR with the cassette.

I had to take off the top of the VCR by removing the three screws. I then removed the jammed loose paper and then was able to get the cassette out. The flashing number 2 (whatever that means) went away. The machine seems to be working fine now.
