To my knowledge there is not. The software you have for the camera as you found out is not compatible. Windows 7 will have imaging software built in which leaves the only problem being getting the images from the camera to the new PC's hard drive. This can be accomplished using a memory card reader, the computer then looks at this reader as an external hard drive. You can then download the memory card files to a folder on the computer and ask Windows 7 to open the file folder. This should one selected file type thumbnails of your pictures. Personally I don't use the camera software at all. I use Photoshop to handle my photo's that and a memory card reader so I can use any one of my four digital cameras. I'm sure Photoshop 7 has imaging programs in the early versions it was called "Paint"

I need to download software for Vivicam 3750 to install in my computer

You can use any kind of picture downloading software to import photos from a camera.
Personally, I like Google PICASA the most. http://picasa.google.com/
But there are lots of other good free choices.
Google for: free photo library software
You can also request the "Vivitar Experience" software at http://www.vivitar.com/support

An elderly woman in my building gave me a digital camera, a Vivitar Vivicam 3750, a battery recharge pack and a USB cord. She does not have an installation disk (and has no idea what that is) and I want to...

Windows will recognise the camera as a storage device without any drivers or installation disks being installed...just plug it in, turn on the camera and wait till windows recognises it...it will then appear in My Computer as a new driver (E:,F:.G: etc etc).

Right click "My Computer" and choose properties.

Click on "Hardware" from the tabs up the top, then the "Device Manager" button

Click on your computer name (top of the tree list) and you will notice a new button apear up the stop (scan for new hardware)...click on that and then follow the prompts that come up (Found Hardware Wizard)..

Also you can go to

Question about usb download

Try going to vivitar website and they should have a plug in for it if the camera is a recent make. see if your computer has a card reader in it. It will be a slot that you memory card can fit in. if not you can buy one at any camera store and use the vista editing software.

The camera is a vivitar model 3815

There should be a rubber cover over the USB adapter on the camera. Lift it up and you will see the port to plug in the cable. Good luck.

I have lost the usb cable plut the disc on downloading photos from my vivitar 3650 camera to my computor can you help

I didn't see any software on vivtars website for you camera. I found the manual which is at this link:

http://www.vivitar.com/ecms.aspx/2907cbb7-14d3-4f32-aa39-f710357d66f6/SupportFiles/ViviCam3750.pdf

Drivers are not required for your camera unless you have Windows 98 installed.

You will probably have to order a new CD direct from Vivitar if you need software.

There are some programs for free that you can use if you want to transfer pictures to your computer and do a few simple editing features. Kodak has one. Adobe has one as well.

It doesn't show you in the book what the camera connector looks like. You can check with Vivitar on that. If the connector on your camera is D shaped they do sell USB cable with a standard D shaped end at most computer stores.
