Help. I got a used TruTech t200d for my nine year old. we were able to hook up and play on playstation 2, but are unable to get the tv to pick up the comcast channels. we do not have the trutech remote only the comcast remote.

Since you are using the COMCAST REMOTE, does it mean that you are using the COMCAST CABLE BOX which gets the signals from the cable and its output is fed into your TV channel 3?
Please clarify your setup.

U able to go into the tv Menu?Yes,goto SETUP changes Pick CABLE and scan for channels for the Comcast CABLE channels.Or Try website like Remotes.com to buy an original tv remote.

Put ps3 on new tv does not pick up lead as we used hdmi on old tv
If possible, hook the PS3 to the old TV, and then select the AV Cable option for both video and sound. Then hook it to the new TV, which should show the display at 480p. From there, you can adjust the settings to whatever you would like.

When I hook my playstation 2 to my trutech tv, it plays in black and white. How do I get it to play in color?
You need NTSC TO PAL converter or a RF converter for this problem.

your console must be of NTSC type and your TV PAL type or vice versa.

check your tv settings to change from pal to ntsc to get color. Mostly modern TV sets would have the settings to change on their remote controller from ntsc to pal, secam etc.

I have a sansui 19" LCD TV+DVD
I had to attempt multiple times turning the TV on to get a picture. The sound was fine. This kept happening when I would go to turn on the set the TV kept playing fine with picture & sound but after the 2nd attemts I turned it off & then tried to turn it back on which took multiple attempts, it kept playing for a few minutes then the picture went out but the sound was still there.
The set is not yet 2 years old.
