Have a clarke 125en wire feed drive wheels are not turn although it makes the same noise as it did when it worked, it just up and quit

if it is just not feeding wire, check the tension on feed wheel. Make sure it turns when trigger is pressed. Also make sure you have gas with solid wire. If you have cored wire gas is not needed.

Your Hobart has a Drive Motor Protection.The Drive motor protection circuit protects drive motor from overload. If drive motor becomes inoperative, release gun trigger and wait until protection circuit resets allowing drive motor to feed wire again. Or you can reset it manually by pressing the reset button located on the back welder. I do not know of a US source for these Clarke EN130 Wire drive wheel parts. I don't know of any interchangeable subs either. Your welder was made in Italy and the wheel drive is metric.

try checking the tension on the feed roller,you may have too much tension which in return will not allow the wire to feed right,check to make sure your feed roller is for the size of wire you are using,next check the tip size for the wire your using.

Most welders hum when turned on. The pulsation could be the unsteady feed. The feed could be one of several things. The rollers that drive the wire could be adjusted too loose. The tip could be damaged/burnt/melted. The tube that the wire feeds through inside the lead could be damaged or kinked. Be careful when welding that you don't have the lead bent too much -- keep it as straight as possible. This will minimize problems due to kinking. When you say it doesn't work at all, if you mean doesn't feed, this could be the same problem. If it doesn't turn on at all, that's something else. Post more details and we'll see what we can do.

Google Clarke welder parts to find a supplier. Or alot of auto parts stores sell that brand should be able to get it for you. I have a JET drill press that I needed parts for and found that my local NAPA store could get them and they don't even stock any Jet equipment.

i own a 125en clarke, i bought tips from harbor freight....chicago electric, they fit, also they have tweco style guns, lincoln is interchangeable with them

what model is your clarke? i have a 125en which is the exact same welder as a craftsman, you could probably get a new feed motor or other parts for the welder itself from sears, the gun is a tweco style gun same as lincolns, so if you need tips or anything you can get those just about anywhere welder stuff is sold. i hope i helped.
