Confirmation page How do I program my printer to print a confirmation page? Please advise. Thank you.

Print quality issues could be due to dirty or clogged nozzles. Please follow the steps below to clean the print cartridge nozzles:

Clean Cartridge Nozzles (Solution Center):

1. Go to Start, Programs(Windows XP: All Programs), Lexmark 3300 Series, Lexmark Solution Center.

2. Click the Maintenance tab.

3. Click Clean to fix horizontal streaks.

4. Click Print. A cleaning page prints, forcing ink through the clogged nozzles to clean them.

5. Print a document again to verify that the print quality has improved.

6. If you are still not satisfied with the print quality, follow the instructions in this article How to Clean the Print Cartridge Nozzles and Contacts Manually.

if your able to print from your printer then just check your Scanner Drivers then follow the below link

You could try to turn off printer.
Unplug printer from electrical outlet.
Wait at least 15 minutes, this will let the printer to clear memory.
Plug back in printer and turn on. Do a cleaning cycle.
The cleaning cycle will insured a good alignment page.
Align printer.

Follow the steps below to enable the Fax confirmation on Sent and recieved.

On the printer :

1. Press Setup ( ).
2. Press the right arrow button ( ) to select Print Report , and then press OK .
3. Press the right arrow button ( ) to select one of the following options:
   • On Fax Send: Print a confirmation page every time you send a fax.
   • On Fax Receive: Print a confirmation page every time you receive a fax.
   • Send & Receive: Print a confirmation page every time you send or receive a fax.
4. Press OK .

Other confirmation reports in the same menu are :

User Tools/Fax/Parameter Settings. Personally I wouldn't mess with those, it's to easy to totally mess up the fax system if you flip the wrong bit switch setting. I threw my 450 programing guides away some time ago being that there's just a hand full of these things left in the hole country. I believe if you go to Ricoh's web site and go to the download page, you can download the fax user manual which if memory serves me (and it often doesn't), you'll find how to change the fax parameter settings.

Disable information page at printer setup or at program.

Hi,
First check if you are able to print self test page faster or at the same speed.
If you are able to print self test page faster than you need to check for drivers and incase if self test page is at the same speed than you can try upgrading firmware of the printer.
As you havn't mentioned the exact speed i cannot confirmed whether printer will speed up or not.
If the printer is already printing at the designed speed than upgrading the firmware will not help.
However upgrading the firmware is always advisable.

Can you print something with a different program such a Microsoft Word? If you can then the problem is with LWORKS if not then the problem is with the printer driver. Please respond so I can help more.

try uninstalling the update as long as it is not one necessary to new programs. Find the uninstall for it by doind a search in the run menu, and the uninstall file should come up. Follow prompts. Now try printing again. If this fails, you may have to uninstall printer drivers ie go to remove programs, unilnstall printer and all related files. Now reinstall using your original printer canon disk for your operating system. Try printing again.
