Have you tried to use XP mode in Windows 7? In Windows 7 you can install XP mode and attempt to run the software from the virtualized environment. For the download for XP mode on Windows 7, go to this website: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx
Another thought that I have is that in Windows 7 - have you searched for an updated signed driver for your sound card? Depending on the model of computer you own - you can usually find the signed drivers at the manufacturers support website. Sometimes, changing the driver you are using for your sound card can also effect how your sound interfaces with different programs.

HP does not support the drivers for windows 7 for this model, However you can use windows vista drivers on windows 7 as well (as i used the vista sound drivers on windows 7 on dv9000z).

Find the manufacturer of those devices and go to the manufacturer website and download the windows 7 drivers. There probabbly aren't any.
Windows 7 will use vista driver if upgrading, but not with fresh installs.

Sorry,your sound card driver for windows 7 is not release by tosiba company.Even if they have release driver for Windows Vista too.It might have work.
So you won't be able to play audio sound on your laptop using windows 7.Either you need to downgrade to Windows XP or windows 2000 or you may get a new USB external sound card which support windows 7.
