I can access my mail,but when i click mail,it ask password again and again.cant open my mail from last week,i need urgent.pls help me

call Yahoo Inc at 001-408-349-1572 or 001-866-562-7219. the computerised reply will asks you to click 1 for accounts 2 for information. Click 2
then again a list of selections will be asked.,select 'password'. later you will be put on a real customer service person.
He will ask you - date of birth, approx date when the account was hacked, approx what was the last mail you accessed or some idea about some mails that you accessed last like sender's name etc. If you are able to answer these things you will be asked to name the alternate email ID which you have mentioned in your yahoo account or the alternate email ID to which they will send the new password. good luck.

f you forgot your Yahoo! ID, you need to provide three pieces of information so we can confirm your identity:

• Your birthday
• Your ZIP or postal code (at the time you created your Yahoo! account or when you last updated it)
• Your alternate email address -Note: You must have access to this email address
• Country code (at the time you created your Yahoo! account or when you last updated it)

Be sure to provide the same information you gave the last time you registered for a new Yahoo! ID or password or the last time you updated your account.

To change your password:

4. Click Change your password

6. Enter your current password.
7. Enter and confirm your new password.
8. Click Save. You will see a confirmation page when you have successfully changed your password.
9. Click Continue.

Your Yahoo! password always applies to your entire Yahoo! account. This means that it is valid not only for Yahoo! Mail but also for Yahoo!'s other personalized services like :

• Yahoo! Messenger
• Yahoo! Chat
• My Yahoo!
• Yahoo! Finance

you need to login to login page of yahoo mail and click on I can't access my account under user ID and password box, then select My account may have been compromised and click on next, then enter your yahoo ID and enter the code which would blink there and click on next and then it would ask you the questions so click on forgot the answer and you would recieve an email on your alternate email ID and you can reset the password for yahoo mail ID.

Nothing to worry. You can reset it online.

Just type http://edit.yahoo.com/forgot on your browser, select the option My password doesn't work or I forgot my password.click next and type your ID correctly along with the captcha code in the boxes. On next step it will ask you to type the Alternate e-mail address ...if you provide it correctly you will receive a password resetting mail ....through that you can reset the password easily. if you don't have/know the alternate e-mail address just choose the option I can't access above. click Next.. it will ask you the answer for Secret Question just provide the info correctly here. You will be done.

if yahoo banned your e-mail addy then you cant unlock it unless you get a hold of yahoo directly. just go to yahoo.com click on the "contact us" link, and you can contact them that way. If you a have just forgotten your password or username, go to the yahoo mail main page, and click the "forogt" password link. and try to access it that way. if you still cant retrieve your password you can contact yahoo again, and they will ask u to provide proof your who you say you are. thell ask u some questions. name, birthdate, hint question stuff like that. just the information u used to create the account.
